K-FORCE training visit at UNIZA ‐ April-May, 2019

As part of the K-FORCE project activities, UNIZA (P10) organized a training visit for academic staff from the Western Balkan countries. This visit took place at the Faculty of Security Engineering, University of Zilina, Slovak Republic from May 6 – May 17, 2019. The primary focus was on gaining new and improving teaching and research skills.

K-Force training visit at Lund University – June 3rd – June 14th, 2019

A training visit was arranged at Lund University as part of the K-FORCE project’s Special Mobility Strand (SMS) programme for staff members. The visit took place from the 3^rd of June until the 14^th of June 2019. The aim of the visit was to give the trainee international experience on the education system and teaching methods at LU.

Third Lifelong Learning Course within the K-FORCE project held in Tuzla

On Friday, 14.06.2019. in the frame of the K-FORCE ERSMUS + project, third LLL course was held on the subject "Explosion modelling for improvement of preventive protection".

Third part of Lifelong learning course „Constructive rules for fire safety of buildings“ held at UBL

In the framework of the Erasmus+ project K-FORCE (Knowledge for Resilient SoCiEty - Knowledge for Resistive Society) at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy on June 13th, 2019, the third part of the first Life Long Learning Course "CONSTRUCTIVE RULES FOR FIRE SAFETY OF BUILDINGS " were held.

UBL - Lifelong Learning Course "Earthquake Resistant Design” 4th Part - K-FORCE

In the framework of the Erasmus+ project K-FORCE (Knowledge for Resilient SoCiEty - Knowledge for Resistive Society) at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy on June 12th, 2019, the fourth part of the second Life Long Learning Course "EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT DESIGN" were held.

VTSNS teaching staff implementing student-centred learning and problem-based learning

As a result of tasks realised within WP 3 Improve teaching methodologies and embed the ICT in learning material, WBC staff have been trained in teaching methodology on the K-FORCE project, through a combination of study visits to EU partner institutions, workshops held and literature provided on the project website.

DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT AND FIRE SAFETY MASTER STUDY PROMOTION IN HIGH SCHOOLS

In the framework of K-Force project, Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering, University of Tuzla representatives have organized meetings to promote the Master program Disaster Risk Management and Fire Safety. The meetings were organized with secondary school students in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Breza, Kakanj and Zenica, providing practical information for the Master Program.
