During the period 20-24 May 2019, the K-Force Project Team at the University of Tirana provided two Lifelong Learning courses in the field of Risk Assessment and Disaster Risk Modeling for graduates, professionals and employees of different institutions. The LLL courses in the framework of Erasmus +K-Force project aimed to address important topics related to risk assessment and disaster risk modeling, as part of participants continuing education.
Professionals came from related fields of risk analysis and insurance departments, as well as from other fields, such as engineering. The participants, had previously to fill the google form that was created by K-Force Project Team at UT and linked to the webpage of Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, in order to register to the respective course. In total, they were 165 professionals registered for the two LLL courses, meanwhile 108 of them attended the lectures. They were 45 professionals registered for the course "Disaster Risk Modeling", while 38 of them attended this course. They were 120 professionals registered for the course "Risk Assessment", while 70 of them attended this course. The attendees that successfully completed the course received the Certificate of Attendance, issued by the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana. Participants were able to access course materials through the CANVAS platform, which they found of very practical use.
