The 5th International Scientific Conference “SAFETY ENGINEERING - fire, environment, work environment and integrated risks” and 15th International Conference “FIRE AND EXPLOSION PROTECTION” were held in Higher Education Technical School of Professional Studies in Novi Sad, on October 5-7, 2016. More than 100 experts from the field of fire protection attended the Scientific Conference, mostly from Serbia, Russia, Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, Croatian, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Montenegro.
The conference was organized by Higher Education Technical School of Professional Studies, Technical University in Zvolen and Department of Civil Engineering and Geodesy of Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. At first plenary session, on behalf of K-FORCE project team, PhD Mirjana Laban presented a brief overview of ERASMUS+ project Knowledge FOr Resilient soCiEty and invited experts from the field to participate in project activities. Attendees were informed about the motivation behind the project, its aims and objectives and following activities.
