On October 17th a demonstration exercise to combat natural disasters was held at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering at University of Tuzla with the aim of raising public awareness of the increasing presence of these issues in our society which has recently witnessed floods, landslides and earthquakes.
As a result, a postgraduate study programme Disaster Risk Management and Fire Safety Engineering was initiated at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering under the Erasums+ K-FORCE project, with the aim of educating staff who will become experts in the field.
