In the framework of the Erasmus+ project K-FORCE (Knowledge for Resilient SoCiEty - Knowledge for Resistive Society) at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy on May 18th, 2019, the second part of the second Life Long Learning Course "EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT DESIGN" were held.

The course is conceived as a form of continuing education of technical engineers with a minimum of 240 ECTS credits, as well as professionals dealing with fire protection in practice. The lectures were attended by practicing engineers, experts from related fields, master and undergraduate students, teachers, and associates of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy at the University of Banja Luka.

Lecturer was prof. dr Sanin Dzidic, and the lecture was “Eurocodes”.

Presentation

The second visit at UKIM (P11), as part of the Special Mobility Strand (SMS) program of the KFORCE project, took place in the period 6-17 May 2019. The training mobility was organized within two institutions: Faculty of Civil Engineering and Institute for Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology. The aim of the training was to provide the trainees involved in the mobility with international experience on the education system and teaching methods for MSc education at UKIM.

In the framework of the Erasmus+ project K-FORCE (Knowledge for Resilient SoCiEty - Knowledge for Resistive Society) at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy on May 17^th, 2019, the second part of the first Life Long Learning Course "CONSTRUCTIVE RULES FOR FIRE SAFETY OF BUILDINGS" were held.

On May 10-11, 2019, Faculty of Architecture and Engineering in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering organized a two days training in the field of Disaster Risk Management and Fire Safety in Civil Engineering.

In this two-day training the academic staff members of the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering, held presentations about:

• Disaster Risk Management
• Fire Engineering
• Fire Evaluation Modelling

 In the end of the activity certificates were distributed for the 70 participants.

In the past two months, there were six guest lectures in the VTSNS amphitheatre, held by lecturers from partner institutions on topics dealing with DRM&FS.

Dr. José G. Rangel Ramirez, from University of Aalborg, has developed a teaching activity within Erasmus+ program K-FORCE project, in the period from 6^th May until 10^th May 2019, within the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering at EPOKA University.

Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana, Epoka University in Tirana and University of Novi Sad, in cooperation with Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania on September 9 are organizing the Second International Symposium Knowledge For Resilient soCiEty - K-FORCE 2019, within Erasmus + K-FORCE project.
