The Cluster meeting of Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project of modernization and development of study programs in Bosnia and Herzegovina was held on 27th November 2019 at the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka.
Regional Cluster Meeting on CBHE projects' impact in the Western Balkans took place in Albania, Durres, on the 22 and 23 October. The cluster meeting was organised by EACEA, EAC and the NEO Albania in the framework of the CBHE action of the Erasmus + programme.
On October 17th a demonstration exercise to combat natural disasters was held at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering at University of Tuzla with the aim of raising public awareness of the increasing presence of these issues in our society which has recently witnessed floods, landslides and earthquakes.
In the framework of K-Force project, University of Tirana has broaden the collaboration with another EU project in the field of Disaster Resilience. The National Territorial Planning Agency in Albania since 2016 is a partner in BRIGAID (Bridging the Gap for Innovations in Disaster Resilience) project, part of the Horizon 2020 program of the European Commission. with lead partner Technische Universiteit Delft. The focus of BRIGAID is innovation clustered in 3 main components of climate change, such as floods, droughts and extreme weather.

Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad has announced Call for enrollmentto the new accredited PhD Studies Disaster Risk Management and Fire Safety.
By decision of the Faculty of Technical Sciences Council, all applicants who enroll in doctoral academic studies Disaster Risk Management and Fire Safety in 2019/20 school year will be exempted from paying tuition fees.
Study programme is organized with support from European Commission, within ERASMUS + project Knowledge FOr Resilient soCiEty (K-FORCE) with aim to build a sustainable educational foundation in the field of Disaster Risk Management and Fire Safety Engineering in Western Balkan countries and ensure national professional resources and regional capacity for resilient society.
