Description
In this phase, partners will discuss and agree on modalities of using modern ICT to support blended learning as choosing the right mix of modalities represents a key to designing an effective blended learning program. Blended learning is a method that has proven to be not only effective in terms of learning outcomes, but ranks high on ratings of satisfaction with students and teaching staff as it have the potential to increase student learning outcomes while lowering attrition rates in comparison with equivalent fully online courses. The blended learning model is a more student-centric approach to education, in which students are offered more in-control over their learning experience. Blended learning brings best of both worlds - traditional one with classical learning methods and modern one with digital distance learning.
Increasing educational technology, easy-to-use software and a wide variety of mobile and digital platforms are making blended learning models more accessible than ever before.
