A training visit at UKIM (P11), as part of the Special Mobility Strand (SMS) program of the K-FORCE project, took place in the period 19 August - 03 September 2019. The training mobility was organized within two institutions: Faculty of Civil Engineering and Institute for Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology. The aim of the training was to provide the trainees involved in the mobility with international experience on the education system, process of Accreditation, Erasmus between program countries (KA103) and marketing activities at UKIM.
The trainees and institutions involved in this mobility were:
- Dragana Dvizac, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad (training dates 19-30 August 2019)
- Ranko Bojanic, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad (23 August – 3 September 2019)
- Marija Nenadovic, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad (19-23 August 2019)
- Valentina Vrebalov, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad (19-23 August 2019)
The training has started by a kick-off meeting on which all attendees met with the UKIM staff primarily involved in the training and were given information and instructions on the schedule of the upcoming days. In addition information about getting around Skopje, places of interest and other useful details were given to the trainees.
The training visit was opened by the welcome speech of the local coordinator of the K-FORCE project, Professor Meri Cvetkovska and the Director of the Institute for Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology, prof. Vlatko Sesov.
The main activities of the training visit included:
- Familiarizing with conditions and rules of studying for Erasmus students in KA103
- Establishing an Inter-institutional agreement within Erasmus + KA103
- Familiarizing with higher education system in North Macedonia
- Introduction in Erasmus mobility tool in the framework of KA103
- Observing and highlighting similarities between Serbian and Macedonian HEI Accreditation process
- External accreditation process
- Possibility of Accreditation of doctoral studies for issuing double degree
- Marketing plan for the promotion of UNS study programs (on English) in Macedonia
- Discuss with Institute for Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology about possibility for studying in Novi Sad for their employees
- Possibility of Accreditation of doctoral studies for issuing double degree
Also, a trip to the Lake Ohrid was organized. The participants had chance to visit the lake Ohrid and get information about the traditional Macedonian culture, architecture and food. A social lunch was organized in the evening before the day of leaving.
