The K-FORCE project was promoted at the 13th International Conference on Risk and Safety Engineering traditionally held in the mountain resort at Kopaonik. The Conference was organized on 9-11 January, 2018 by the Higher Education Technical School of Professional Studies. The K-FORCE project was presented by the director of the School, prof. Branko Savić. The presentation included a brief introduction of the ERASMUS+ projects and the results of the study “Development of study programmes in the field of protection supported by the international projects WAMPPP and K-FORCE“.
On the meeting held at the University of Ziline in January 2018, partners from Programme countries HEIs presented the potential content and schedule for training mobilities that are foreseen and supported by SMS. SMS scheme supports K-FORCE project staff (TG2) mobility from WB HEIs (P1-P6) to Programme countries HEIs (P7-P11) for the purpose of training.

Presented were the significance of the project for our faculty, as well as the details about module "Disaster Risk Management" of master studies of Civil engineering, which will be realized for the first time in school year 2018/2019.
The Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies (Zemun, Serbia) coordinator of Erasmus+ ImprESS project - Improving Academic and Professional Education Capacity in Serbia in the area of Safety & Security (by means of strategic partnership with the EU), organized on December 15th 2017 the workshop with similar projects – NatRisk - Development of Master Curricula for Natural Disasters Risk Management in Western Balkan Countries (http://www.natrisk.ni.ac.rs/ ), ISSES - Information Security Services Education in Serbia, BE-OPEN - Boosting Engagement of Serbian Universities in Open Science (http://www.beopen.uns.ac.rs/) and K-FORCE. NatRisk and BE-OPEN projects realization started in 2016 and ImprESS and ISSES started in 2017.
The newsletter is distributed to present and former students and teachers of the Master in Fire Safety (MiB), as well as other industrial and academic contacts working in the fire safety area, which are either supporting the participation of MiB students or are interested in the teaching and research activities of the fire group. The newsletter is written in Danish and is published approximately every 3 months.
