The “Third National Conference for Finance”, with the focus: “Priorities of Albanian Economy in the Context of Regional and Global Integration”, was held on 26 May 2017 in Tirana, Albania. The conference aimed, among other objectives, to bring the academic’s opinion as the critical voice and support of reforms, contributing mainly in sustainable economic and financial development of the country.

On-site research and online information will provide data on existing professionals’ capacity in Disaster Risk Management and Fire Safety field in Western Balkan Countries.

Faculty of Technical Sciences from Novi Sad, in cooperation with Higher Education Technical School of Professional Studies in Novi Sad, National Fire Protection Association and European Youth Parliament, organizes first international symposium Knowledge For Resilient soCiEty - K-FORCE 2017, within Erasmus + K-FORCE project.

The aim of Youth Safety Culture Survey survey is to gain an understanding of how safe and prepared for natural and man-made disasters the young in Western Balkan countries feel.

The survey is conducted as part of the Knowledge for Resilient Society (K-FORCE) project (http://kforce.uns.ac.rs) funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ scheme. The information will be used to better develop and implement curricula in the field of Disaster Risk Management and Fire Safety at Universities in Serbia, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The 5^th International Scientific Conference “SAFETY ENGINEERING - fire, environment, work environment and integrated risks” and 15^th International Conference “FIRE AND EXPLOSION PROTECTION” were held in Higher Education Technical School of Professional Studies in Novi Sad, on October 5-7, 2016. More than 100 experts from the field of fire protection attended the Scientific Conference, mostly from Serbia, Russia, Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, Croatian, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Montenegro.

Regional Association for Security and Crisis Management organized the 2^nd International Scientific Professional Conference SECURITY AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT - THEORY AND PRACTICE. Conference was held from 29^th to 30^th of September 2016 in Obrenovac – the city in Serbia that was hit hardest by the floods in 2014, with an estimated 90% of the town flooded.
